AIIDE-19 Registration, Venue, Hotel, and Transportation Information
Registration
The AIIDE-19 technical conference registration fee includes admission to all technical paper sessions, invited talks, the opening reception, the poster/demo session reception, and access to the electronic AIIDE-19 proceedings. Technical registrants also receive a discount on attendance at workshops and tutorials.

Venue
AIIDE-19 will be held at the Georgia Institute of Technology, October 8-12, 2019, in the following location:

Please note that on October 10, 2019 only, AIIDE-19 will be held at the following location:
- Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center - 800 Spring Street, NW Atlanta, GA 30308
The Student Success Center is a 15 minute walk from the GT Hotel

Hotel
AAAI has reserved a blocks of rooms at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center at reduced conference rates. When reserving your room, please identify yourself as an AIIDE-19 attendee to receive the discounted rate. Space is very limited so please be sure to reserve well in advance of the cut-off dates.

Cut-off date for conference rate reservations: September 16, 2019 (5:00pm Atlanta time)
Hotel room rates are subject to all applicable sales tax (currently 8.9%), occupancy tax (currently 8%), and state motel-hotel fee (currently $5/room/night). Reservations may be cancelled up by 6:00pm two nights prior to confirmed arrival date. After that time, a cancellation fee of one night’s room and tax will be incurred.

The Tech Trolley and Stinger Bus Routes
Georgia Tech offers nine bus routes on its Midtown campus, connecting to regional transit, Emory University, Home Park, and Atlantic Station. Georgia Tech’s transit system is open to students, employees, and campus guests. Boarding fees and IDs are not required to use the transit system, except where indicated.

To travel from the GT Hotel to the Student Success Center via bus:
Take the Tech Trolley (Technology Square Westbound stop) to the 5th Street Bridge stop and then cross the street to the Techwood and 5th SW Corner stop to take the Red Bus to the Tech Tower stop.
To travel from the Student Success Center to the GT Hotel via bus:
Take the Blue Bus from the Ferst Dr. and Cherry St stop to Techwood and 5th St SE Corner. Then walk to the 5th Street Bridge Eastbound stop to take the Trolley to Tech Square.
The Stringerette
For those of you who require mobility aid, the Stingerette is an on-demand shared-ride shuttle service. You can call 404-385-7433 to request a ride, but to set it up, please contact the ADAPTS office in the Student Services Building (404-894-2561).

Parking on Campus
The Georgia Tech Hotel has its own parking deck (E81), which has pay-by-the-hour parking, or $18 unlimited in/out access for hotel guests.
The closest guest parking lot to the Student Success Center is E46/Burge/McAfee/North Avenue Visitor Lot.

Transporation to Georgia Tech
Airport
The Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located approximately 12 miles from the conference venue. Full information about the airport is located at https://www.atl.com/.

Taxi
Taxis charge a metered rate of approximately $30 to get to campus from the airport.
MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority)
MARTA Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority is Atlanta’s combined bus and rail transit system, which operates from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday to Friday and from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on weekends and holidays. The cost of one MARTA ride (one way) is $2.50, and Breeze Cards may be purchased at the station. Please remember to hold on to your Breeze Card, which will be needed to exit the station. Georgia Tech’s campus is located near the Midtown and North Avenue rail stations on the Gold and Red Lines. The Tech Trolley provides direct service from campus to the Midtown Station’s Peachtree Place entrance. The Trolley typically runs from 5:45am to 10:30pm, Monday – Friday. Trolley service is not provided to the North Avenue Station, but the North Avenue Station is a 9-minute walk away.
