AIIDE 2019: "Human-Centered Evaluation"
The 15th AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Digital Entertainment (AIIDE’19) will be held at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA, USA on October 8-12, 2019. Sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI), AIIDE brings together researchers and practitioners who work in AI for entertainment, including game designers, creative technologists, and media artists.and academic and industrial AI researchers. This year, AIIDE especially encourages submissions to respond to the theme of “human-centered evaluation”.

Special Theme
This year’s conference features a special theme of “Human-Centered Evaluation”. In addition to general topics of interest in entertainment AI, the conference program will feature speakers, panels, and paper sessions that focus on directly evaluation and critical analysis of AI in digital entertainment contexts.
Get Involved!
AIIDE’19 will include invited speakers, research and practitioner presentations, panels, playable experiences, project demonstrations, interactive poster sessions, product exhibits, workshops, a doctoral consortium, the StarCraft AI Competition, and an artifact evaluation. We invite researchers and developers to share insights and cutting-edge results from a wide range of AI-related projects and encourage the presentation of a) results from core AI research areas applicable to interactive digital entertainment and b) AI approaches developed and fielded in entertainment experiences.
