I am a Research Staff Member with the Database Research Group at IBM Research - Almaden. My general research interests include information management, data mining and applied machine learning.
I received my Ph.D. in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I was a member of the Data Science Research Group led by my advisor Prof. Elke A. Rundensteiner. From 2016 to 2018, I was awarded an ORISE Fellowship by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to work with the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System team on medical data mining problems.
