Course Project Suggestions, COMP 408 (Spring 1997)
- The Full Systolic Array: Verifying the Systolic
Array when StreamIn has range 0..15 is rather difficult. For this
project, use a combination of theorem proving and model checking to
verify the design under the 0..15 range on StreamIn.
- A Greatest Common Divisor Circuit: The documentation for this problem describes a circuit
for computing the GCD of two inputs. For this project, verify both
the algorithm for computing the GCD and that the proposed circuit
implements the algorithm. Your version of the circuit should work on
8 bit numbers.
- The Car Seat Controller: The car seat controller
circuit monitors a car seat with three axes of movement: the seat can
move forwards or backwards, the seat bottom can be raised or lowered,
and the tilt on the seat can be increased or decreased. The documentation provides an implementation of the
car seat controller. Verify the design.
