Quantization

This is the quantization of the color space.

In this case, the HSV color space is cylindrical.

• The long axis represents value.

• Distance from the axis gives the saturation.

• The angle about the axis gives the hue : tint or tone.

Transformation T from RGB to HSV and quantization gives 18 hues, 3 saturations, 3 values and 4 grays.
