Transformation

The RGB color space is not perceptually uniform.

So we transform it into a representation that overcomes these drawbacks.

This property is required for the following reasons:

• It may introduce false colors.

• It is easier to compensate for artifacts and color

distortions.

The authors introduce a transformation from RGB to HSV space which is non - linear but invertible.
