I am an Applied Scientist with the AI Research and Education org at Amazon Web Services (AWS). I study and apply machine learning techiques to solve data management problems. In particular, I build AI capabilities for AWS DataZone to help customers unleash the true value of their data lakes.
Prior to Amazon, I was a Research Staff Member with the Database Research Group at IBM Research - Almaden. I worked with Berthold Reinwald on machine learning for graphs with applications to IBM Master Data Management (MDM).
I received my Ph.D. in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I was a member of the Data Science Research Group led by my advisor Prof. Elke A. Rundensteiner. From 2016 to 2018, I was awarded an ORISE Fellowship by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to work with the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System team on medical data mining problems.
