Simplification by Analogical Reasoning

• A simplification problem is defined by :

  • the object that has to be simplified,
  • the point of view (context, aspect and measure) of the simplification
  • properties of the object that the simplification has to preserve.

• These elements correspond respectively to the object, goal and constraint of the simplification problem.
