- data controls length of rays emanating from glyph centers, end points connected

Parallel Coordinates

- vertical axis for each dimension, point manifested as polyline across all axes

Dimensional Stacking

- each dimension divided into finite number of bins. 2 dimensions used to create virtual image space (grid of subspaces). Next 2 dimensions divide subspaces further. Repeat until all dimensions allocated.
