Despite my high
expectations for this gun, it didnt do as well as I wanted it to. When I used the
auto fire, auto re-load mode, the gun was very inaccurate, and actually shot on the screen
about ¼ to ½ of the time. When I used the gun on normal mode it did well, shooting
pretty accurately. The gun is pretty heavy though and the auto fire doesnt work
bringing it to about average. |

At
first glance, the garish yellow Heater is identical to the dark blue Cobra Gun except for
two missing features: theres no dual PlayStation/Saturn connector, and the red
flashing LEDs have been replaced by stickers with the inspirational message "The
ultimate weapon for shooting games." But the first glance would be wrong, because the
Heater feels cheaper (including a very mushy trigger) and is noticeably less accurate than
the Cobra Gun. A major disappointment, especially for an officially licensed gun. |
Innova |
The Heater is an
officially licensed PlayStation light gun that has the same basic design as the
non-licensed Virtual Gun and Cobra Gun. But, while both the Virtual Gun and the
Cobra Gun perform brilliantly, The Heater's overall performance is downright disgusting.
The accuracy is horrible. Getting the gun to calibrate correctly is a pain in
the butt. And once you actually do get it calibrated correctly, the accuracy fades
very abruptly when playing the game. Don't buy this gun. |
