I am interested in checking whether you have any CS students that are still looking for a summer internship this year. As I mentioned, we got
some recent budget so these 3 positions are being posted much later than usual.
Here is a summary of what we’re looking for with more details in the attached docs:
1.
API Support Intern -
Working in co-operation with the SOLIDWORKS API Support and Development teams, the successful candidate will perform a comprehensive review of our published sample code.

Identify samples that are obsolete and need to be withdrawn or replaced
·
Update samples to exploit improvements in the Microsoft.NET framework and the SOLIDWORKS API
·
Design and implement new samples to which our customers can refer
2.
QA Automation Intern - This Automation QA Engineering Intern will work to develop/improve automated tools to improve the quality of the SolidWorks and/or its product websites. The intern will use their C#/.NET coding skills to create
code driven tests and drive deeper use of metadata associations.

Participates design of tests for SolidWorks and/or it related website products
·
Contributes as a member of the Agile team
3.
UI Development Intern - Working in co-operation with the SOLIDWORKS UI and other Development teams, the successful candidate will analyse GDI/User handles management in the code and find fixes for leaks.
·
Understand automation testing in SOLIDWORKS application using macros.
·
Work closely with SOLIDWORKS Automation team to get baseline tests showing GDI leaks.
·
Analyze the leaks and work on fixes by debugging code.
·
In some cases, contact other development teams to arrive at a solution for the leak.
