My name is Shelley Mangan and I work part-time for Dining Services at the Campus Center. My full-time job is Director of Finance & Development at the McAuley Nazareth Home for Boys in Leicester. The Nazareth Home is a group home and residential special education
school for boys who have suffered from trauma, abuse and/or neglect.
One of my responsibilities is fundraising to support the work we do to help these boys recover and lead productive lives, and I've
been looking for a way to better keep track of our donors. I've looked into many different donor management systems, but they tend to be too complex and way too costly than our small organization needs.
I have a small, simple database of all our donor information, but I'm not proficient in Access and I have to export the data to Excel
to manipulate it. I was wondering if there were any students (or faculty) proficient in Access database design who would want to volunteer to build a simple donor tracking & reporting system for us.
