Dear Dr. Wills We are hosting a middle school science and engineering competition at Assumption College later this month. One of the events this year is a computer programming event. I was wondering if you could recommend someone who might be interested in running this event. Graduate students and advanced undergraduates certainly have enough experience for the job. In particular, I need an event supervisor to run the Game On event, according to the guidelines in the attached pdf. Prior to the tournament day, the supervisor will need to become familiar with the rules and decide on a theme for the competition. On tournament day, they will oversee the students working on the event and score the games they produce so we can give medals at the end of the day. There will be additional volunteers to help out with monitoring and scoring. I will be happy to send more information to anyone who is interested. The competition is on Saturday, March 23.
