• Program. Please submit the source code of your program by email to ruiz@cs.wpi.edu. Code documentation should follow the Departmental Documentation Standard.

• Written Report. Please submit the URL for the web page containing the report of your project. Your report should contain:
  1. Selected topic
  2. Background material on this topic. You may include links to other web pages, but you must provide a good summary of the background material (i.e. your background section cannot consist entirely of links to other resources on the web).
  3. For each paper you read on the subject:
     • Title, author(s), where and when it was published, and its URL - if the paper is available online.
     • Your own description of the paper (do not use the abstract of the paper). What problem are the authors solving in the paper? What is the contribution of the paper? How good in your opinion is the paper?
  4. Problem solved by your implementation.
     • Description of the problem and its relation to the topic area
     • Specification of your system in terms of input/output. Make sure to explain in detail any conventions/assumptions you make about the input.
     • Where your code is located, in case you want to make it available.
     • Results:
       • describe which tests you ran to try out your program.
       • describe the strengths and the weaknesses of your program.
       • include examples showing the execution of your program on a few different inputs.
     • a user manual explaining how to install, run, and use your program.

• Oral Presentation. You will give a 30 minute, oral, in-class presentation describing your achievements on this project. Please discuss as many of the issues enumerated above (background material, papers, selected problem, your solution, your system, etc.) as possible. You are welcome to use slides and/or any other visual aids for your presentation. If you plan to run a demo of your system during the presentation, please make sure that you bring with you all the equipment you need and that the equipment is up and running by the beginning of your presentation.
