Amsterdam Hypermedia Model



The Amsterdam Hypermedia Model was developed by Lynda Hardman, Dick Bulterman and Guido van Rossum and published in Communications of the ACM in 1994.

An extension of the Dexter Model.

Adds time and context to the Dexter Model.

Addresses the synchronization issue.

An atomic element is an element of one hypermedia type ( asset )

A composite element may consist of several (time-based) atomic elements

Designed to facilitate creation of (relatively) simple authoring tools
