Rendering is the process of creating an image file which will
show a 3-D object.
Rendering uses properties such as Normal vectors (an imaginary line
perpendicular to a point on the object) to compute brightness,
color, shadows, and many other characteristics.
There are a HUGE number of such calculations, and rendering
can be the most time-consuming phase of 3-D animations.
