ODA - Open Document Architecture

ODA describes both the logical structure of a document (as does SGML) AND the physical structure (unlike SGML).

That is, ODA includes a description of the layout. The goal is to be able to transfer documents between companies without losing either the structural or the layout information. Each company needs 2 converters - 1 from ODA to their system and 1 from their system to ODA.

HyperODA supports hypermedia transfers.
