Submitting Homework with Turnin

Turnin is a web-based system for submitting homework assignments. If your course is using turnin, you should have received a turnin password (and changed it to something you will remember). If you have not, contact your professor. Note that the SA who will be most directly responsible for turnin issues during the term is Chris Songer

To use Turnin, click on the link below and log in. You can submit and view assignments by clicking on the "Student Tasks" button. Look for the "submit assignment" option to upload your file. If your assignment is for a group of students, upload it as a group (rather than self) assignment. You can use the "view submitted assignment" option to see what your groupmates have submitted.

Examples For Use

The following screens show you what you will expect when using the system (Click on each image to show the full image). After clicking on the above "Access turnin" link, you will see the following login screen:

Then you will be asked to select a class (select "cs2102").

This will bring you to the Student Actions screen.

Select "Submit for an Assignment":

Labs will always be individual ("self") assignments while homeworks are "group". After you use the "Browse..." button, you will be able to select the source file on disk that will be uploaded into the system. Upon successful uploading, the following confirmation screen is shown:
