If you feel that you aren't being challenged by the material, then check in here once in a while to find out a set of parallel projects that I will be working on throughout the term. Note that there is no credit to be given for these, but that isn't the point now, is it!
At the end of this term, each student in this course should be able to work their way through these problems, to at least understand what the program is trying to do.
