The HIVE is located in Fuller Labs, Room B16, co-located with robotics groups in the Interaction Lab. It serves as both a development space and a testing space.

[TactaVest Image] TactaVest (many): A wearable garment with 16 independently controlled vibrating motors (there are four more on the front).
[FPSVest Image] 2 x 3rdSpace FPS Vest: A wearable garment with eight independently controlled air compressors (four in the front and four on the back) that simulate gunfire from all directions in shooting games.
[TactaFan Image] TactaFan (many): A muffin fan attached to a pan tilt platform that can be controlled by signals from the computer. 8 to 12 TactaFans can be independently connected and controlled by an Arduino board.
[TactaCage Image] 2 x TactaCage: A frame with TactaFans and motion-capture cameras mounted to track an octagon area with a radius of approximately two meters.
