Project Grades
Prof. David C. Brown, CS Dept.
Based on WPI's standards for grading projects, here are my expectations:
Grade:
A Excellent: Delivered work exceeds all project goals/requirements, and group has shown evidence of independent and excellent work above normal standards. B Good: Meets all project goals/requirements, is high quality work, and group has shown good, fairly independent effort during the project. C Acceptable: Meets all project goals/requirements, but group was highly dependent on advisor for planning, ideas and corrections. NR Does not meet all project goals/requirements. Notes:
- My expectation is that only about 10% of projects might get an A grade.
- A "B" grade is for "good" work and is NOT a punishment.
- The grade is for the whole project and not just for the report.
- The report plays a significant role in my assignment of a grade.
