WPI is located about 5 miles from Worcester Regional Airport, currently serviced by US Airways. Not far from Worcester are Logan International Airport in Boston, Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT, and T. F. Green State Airport in Providence, R.I. Shuttles are available from all of these airports to Worcester, however advance reservations are probably required.Getting from the Airport
- From Boston Logan (or T.F. Green) Airport to the Worcester Hotels:
- Use the Worcester Airport Limousine (WAL) van service.
You'll need to make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance, by phone or via the web.

Each Limousine (a van) can accommodate up to 10 people with luggage.
- There is a special, very low AID'00 rate of:
- Boston Logan -
- $28 per person one way
$56 per person round trip.- T.F. Green -
- $45 per person one way
$90 per person round trip.- To get this rate you must mention ``WPI AID 2000'' on the phone, in your FAX, or in the `Comments Section' when booking via the web.
- For return trips to the Airport the van will wait for 5 minutes only past the designated pickup time.
- A Taxi is much too expensive.
- A Bus is possible.
- A Train is possible, but you'll need to get to Boston's South Station first.
- You could drive -- from Boston aim for the "Mass Pike West", and allow about an hour and a half: depending on traffic of course.
- From Worcester Airport to/from the Worcester Hotels:
- Taxi:
Both Red Cab (792-9999) and Worcester Yellow Cab (754-3211) charge between $10 and $12. They should be available at the airport.
- The Crowne Plaza Worcester provides free van service to Worcester Airport, and from the airport if reserved in advance.
- The Worcester Courtyard by Marriott provides free van service to Worcester Airport, and from the airport if reserved in advance.
Hotel to Conference
They all should be close enough to walk from, although the Hampton Inn is a little further than the others. There will be shuttle van transport available in the morning and evening. - AID'00 attendees can park in the Library parking lot that can be accessed from Boynton St., a turning off of Salisbury St.

In the City
In Boston: If you can possibly avoid it, don't drive in Boston! Use the MBTA subway trains, known locally as the ``T''.
In Worcester: Walk, take taxis, drive, or, if you must, take a bus.
In Mass.: Driving is best, but there are trains and bus/coach services available.
