Stage 3 - Back Projection Thresholding

• The filtered image B’[m,n] is analyzed.

• Each isolated region is assigned a non zero label after it

has been analyzed with regard to certain thresholds.

• The threshold ra corresponds to the region size.

• The threshold rb corresponds to regions representation of

color in the color set.

• If the extracted color does not meet the threshold, a

reduced color set is used.
