Efficacy of Read Cache

Figure 4 shows block reads (cache misses) for different cache sizes---built a simulator for this portion of study. WEB has largest working set size. Less benefit for larger cache sizes for other workloads.

Figure 5 looks at file reads as an estimator of disk seek activity. Again more than 50% reduction for 1MB cache size. Less benefit for larger sizes.
