Currently the plan is to follow fairly closely the book which is being prepared for the course by Vladimir Dobrushkin and myself. Hence, instead of a detailed syllabus, I propose the table of contents of the book is given in here.
Changes will be described here, and their appearance always mentioned in the news page.
Expect to proceed at a rate of two mmetings per lecture, on the average.
Midterm will be on Octeber 30.
Final: I have not yet made up my mind if I want a sit-down exam or a take-home one...
In the second meeting, September 11, I shall present some details on using Maple for the course.
