Assignment

This assignment is divided into three parts:

  1. Conduct the following survey. You should have 5 filled out survey forms at the end of this part.
  2. Compile the results and write a short summary of the survey results (1-2 pages).
  3. Consider the scenario in the survey about the inner city teacher. Write a paper 2-3 pages in length that discusses whether his/her action is morally defensible. Draw on articles on the reading list about intelligent property -- so make sure that you provide references. Construct Utilitarian and Deontological moral arguments to support or oppose the teacher's action. Then give your "on balance" judgment as to what he/she ought to do.
You should hand in your survey summary, 5 filled out forms, and the 2-3 page paper. Make sure they are all either in a folder or securely fastened together.y
