Grade Components

3 Exams at 25% each, Homework 15%, Problem-solving groups 10%.

Deadlines and Make-Up Assignments

Homework is due as indicated. No assignments will be accepted beyond the due date nor will make-up assignments be given for missed work.

Letter Grades

Grades in this course are not curved -- your grade is independent of everyone else's. As a starting point, we will use the following ranges when determining final grades. We may, at our discretion, lower the boundary between grades when computing final grades, but we will not raise the boundaries.

A: 85 - 100

B: 75 - 84

C: 65 - 74
