HW CS 1006 Homework assignments

All homework will be submitted using the turnin program. There are also some more specific guidelines on what files to turn in. Here is what to do if you have trouble getting turnin to work.

Homework is due at 9:30a on the due date. Late homework will be accepted until 9:30a on the next day (not necessarily the next class date!) with a 25% late penalty. Because solutions will be published, no homework will be accepted after that.

Homework solutions will be posted electronically as soon as possible (after the late turnin period has expired). Read them!

You will get electronic feedback on your homework via getgrade. If there is a grading question, please email or see a TA or the Instructor during office hours.

Collaboration on the homework is allowed. Each student must submit his/her own assignment, identifying who collaborated on each problem.

You are strongly encouraged to do all homework problems, as this is the best way to learn the material. Homework will count 20% of your grade.

The last assignment will be a 2-week project. It will count 15% of your grade. You are encouraged to work in groups on the final project. Only one submission per group will be required.

Start homework assignments early!
