The way you can often discover what to do with this function is not by
reading documentation, but by looking at sample code which uses it
(combinations of "find" and "grep" often work).  If something is
unknown about the kernel, this is usually the way to go.  A great
advantage of Linux is that we have the kernel source code - so use it.
