CS PhD student Xika Lin advances past first round of i3 competition
Congratulations to PhD student Xika Lin who has been selected to continue to the final round of the i3 competition.
i3: Investing in Ideas with Impact is all about translating research into value and real-world impact. It encourages graduate students to consider how the ideas and innovations they are developing through research could become the foundation of new products, new commercially valuable processes, and even new companies.
The first round competition took place Friday April 4th and the judges were members of the Arts & Science Advisory Board. The second and final round of the i3 competition will take place on Monday April 14th 2014. WPI alumni will serve as judges for this final i3 competition.
