Designer Directory

About The Directory

The Designer Directory is intended to be a comprehensive directory of people working in the USA in the design field. It also includes design-related resources on the internet. It should improve the sense of community for design researchers, increase the amount of communication between them, and provide a valuable resource for the whole design community. The Designer Directory is similar to, and inspired by, the Machine Learning and Case-Based Reasoning Home Pages or the WPI AI in Design Webliography.

The Designer Directory was funded by an REU grant provided by the National Science Foundation's Division of Design, Manufacture, and Industrial Innovation to WPI. The web pages for the Designer Directory have been developed in conjunction with the Realization Consortium, headed by Professor Richard Sisson. The work was done on the Designer Directory by Gregory Murphy and was supervised by Professor David Brown, WPI Computer Science Department.
